When signing up for 6-week classes, one signs up by selecting (signing up for) the 1st class. Classes 2-6 will occur on a weekly cadence during the same day of the week and time-slot.

Make-up Class Policy
Fees and What's Included
Make-up classes are not guaranteed. If you have to miss a class choose an option from our make up class spreadsheet, linked here. Limit two drop in students per class.

Note: Students must attend their first class meeting
Unless noted, all classes include include all materials and services as part of the class price. Studio tools are also available to be used by all students throughout the six weeks. Students are also welcome to bring in and use their own tools, if desired.
Student Open Studio Hours
We highly encourage students to come in and work on their craft during open studio hours for pottery classes. Open studio hours at Clayroom San Mateo are:
Monday-Thursday: 10:00 am-6:00 pm
Friday-Sunday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

There is no sign in process, but please check the wheel sections and tables to check availability before working.

Refund or Credit (minus $20 processing fee) if a request for refund is received TWO WEEKS and only two weeks before the start of a class.

Class cancellations should be made via email- [email protected] with your original confirmation email.

No refunds or credits after attending 1st class.

Classes missed due to failure to attend, planned absences, minor illnesses or vacations will not be credited for future classes.

Try Day reservations are considered final ONE WEEK before the start of class.
